Ortustech are technology manufacturers based in Japan. Founded in 2010, the company are now recognised globally, designing and producing innovative TFT displays to then distribute them worldwide. Ortustech have been manufacturing breakthrough technologies for almost a decade, aiming to create products that meet the needs of customers in an ever-changing social environment.
Ortustech’s TFT displays focus solely on small to medium sized display products, using core technology that improves colour purity, reflectance and transmittance whilst maximising outdoor visibility. Ortustech use HAST (Hyper Amorphous Silicon TFT) technology that provides their products with impressive image quality whilst keeping power consumption to a minimum. Their high-definition, energy saving TFT displays has helped to build the multinational reputation Ortustech has today.
Key points:
- unique, innovative Blanview technology for sunlight readability
- very low power consumption
- operation without backlight possible
- perfect for mobile applications and battery driven devices
- LED lifetime up to 100,000 hours
- Housing made of anti-magnetic alloy (e.g. for MRI application)
- extended operating temperature range from up to -30 ~ 85°C
- extended storage temperature range from up to -40 ~ 95°C
- longterm availablility
The Blanview technology used in the TFT models produces sunlight readable displays with up to 60% reduced power consumption in comparison to conventional transmissive displays. Its lower power consumption also reduces heat generated whilst the display is in operation, which is an advantage when exposed to direct sunlight.
Here at FORTEC UK, we are proud to be leading Ortustech display distributors, offering 11 different types of TFT models ranging from screen sizes of 2.2” (5.58cm) to 7” (17.78cm). The displays we supply have a varying range of resolutions, viewing angles, brightness levels and temperatures. The models with Blanview F are based on IPS/FFS technology and offer an even wider viewing angle without washing out of colours.
Due to the nature of the Ortustech displays, they are ideal for our VacuBond Optical Bonding process as we are able to bulk bond using multi-cavity jigs which is not possible using other wet-bonding methods.
