BAR Type Displays
Bar-type TFT displays are a popular choice for a wide range of applications, thanks to their unique aspect ratio and high visibility. These displays offer high contrast and brightness levels for easy readability in a variety of lighting conditions. One type of bar-type TFT display is the Stretch Bar Display, which is available in two different types.
The first type of Stretch Bar Display is manufactured as a stretch bar as an original unit. This means that the display is designed and built specifically to have a long and narrow shape, with a length-to-width ratio of 4:1 or greater. These displays are typically used in applications where space is at a premium, such as in automotive dashboards, digital signage, and industrial control panels.Â
The second type of Stretch Bar Display is created by cutting a standard panel horizontally to give the stretch bar effect. This allows manufacturers to create bar-type displays from existing panels, reducing the cost and complexity of production. However, these displays may not offer the same level of durability and reliability as the original Stretch Bar Displays, and may be more prone to issues such as pixel distortion or image degradation.
