WHERE IS IT USED?
San Francisco Airport
WHAT REGION?
USA
WHY APOLLO?
Our American subsidiary Apollo gained a project at San Francisco Airport requiring them to replace the outdated LED scrolling signs in the airport railway stations.
Ideally these would have been replaced with modern TFT monitors. But, the customer requested that they keep the serial communication protocol that transmitted data to the LED signs.
WHAT IS THE ADDED VALUE?
The Custom 46" POS-Line Monitor uses a high bright TFT display that gives great readability, even in direct sunlight. Custom firmware ensures the existing serial communication protocol can be processed and is controlled by our VideoPoster-III TFT controller.
The monitor has a waterproof housing for protection and was assembled in our Eisenach (Germany) facility.
